Activity 1: English Buddy Project
Looking to boost your literacy and help others? The English Buddy Project is a fantastic opportunity to develop key skills while making a meaningful impact at Curtin! In partnership with Curtin School of Education, members gain access to evidence-based, student-centered teaching and learning resources.
Need Help with Your English?
International students can connect with dedicated tutors at CETA to improve their English and adjust to life in Perth. Pre-service teachers offer guidance and mentorship to help you succeed.
Interested in Teaching?
CETA warmly welcomes all students who are passionate about English teaching to join us! Gain hands-on tutoring experience and leadership skills through info sessions and guidance from CETA, equipping you for a rewarding teaching journey.
Activity 2: Volunteer Online English Teaching for Rural Chinese Students
Make a difference by teaching English to children in rural China! Partnering with Shanghai Stepping Stones Youth Development Centre, you can lead evening lessons in the Home Classroom or teach live 40-minute sessions in the Videolink Remote School, empowering students aged 8-15 to build confidence and improve their language skills.
